We have been celebrating Pi Day in the Lower School at Calvert. One member of 9-A memorized more digits of pi than any other student. She was awarded with a yummy pie to eat!. A Ninth Ager and a Tenth Ager both got to throw a pie at Mr. Holmgren because enough Ninth and Tenth Agers memorized more than 20 digits of pi. Happy Spring Break!
We wrote descriptive essays about our favorite foods last week. Mrs. Bennett and I chose the most descriptive essay from each class and brought in those foods for everyone. We enjoyed a scrumptious snack of margherita pizza and cookie dough ice cream. Here are the winners with their favorite foods!
We are so excited to perform our play for you this week! Here is a peek at one of our dress rehearsals.
