Chinese Acrobats visited Calvert yesterday to help us ring in the Chinese New Year. We are now in the year of the dragon. This is the girls' favorite assembly of the year. Enjoy these video clips from the show!

On Friday the girls enjoyed a Martin Luther King assembly as well as a Ravens (or favorite sports team) dress down day. Both were a huge success, as you can see from the pictures. It is not often that the entire school (Lower and Middle) gets together, so this was a special time for everyone. We heard from parent and student speakers and sang a few songs together.

The Ninth Age is knee-deep in play practice. The girls have been practicing on the stage for the past few days and are doing a great job! We have been practicing where to sit/stand as well as adding movement when we say our lines. We won't begin using costumes/props for a few weeks, so check back later for pictures!
