The girls enjoyed a Crow vs. Canary kickball game on Friday. This will be their last Crow/Canary event of the year. There were two games of kickball going on at the same time and each team won one of the games. The girls did a great job!

We have been learning about castles and the Middle Ages in history. As an accompanying project the girls are making small-scale trebuchets. Trebuchets were used to catipult rocks or other items over castle walls in times of war. This is an ongoing project with many steps, but here are some pictures of the first steps which include sanding, drilling and gluing. When we are finished we will have a tool that can catipult a tin foil ball more than twenty feet!
